2. Purpose and account

SoaringCast provides weather forecasts and aeronautical information for preparing glider flights. Using it means accepting these terms. Access requires a personal account with a valid e-mail address; the number of devices signed in at the same time may be limited.

3. Flight safety

Forecasts are computed automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or late. Aeronautical information is provided for guidance only. SoaringCast is neither an official source nor a navigation instrument and does not replace the flight preparation required by the rules. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the decision to fly and for the conduct of the flight.

4. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. To the extent permitted by law, Cap46 cannot be held liable for the consequences of using the information provided, for errors in the data or for service interruptions.

5. Use

Automated extraction of data, maps or tiles, their redistribution without written consent and any fraudulent or harmful use are prohibited. In case of breach, the account may be suspended or deleted. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its name and its content belong to Cap46. Source data remain the property of their producers (see Sources and licences).

8. Governing law

French law. The French version prevails over translations.
